Is the Administration Doing Enough to Save Jobs?

I had the most exciting morning. So interesting and so dynamic. This is why I love my job. Last night I was on with Greta discussing the record federal budget deficit and what it means for us. Not pretty I hate to tell you! This morning I came in early and then ran over to GMA (Good Morning America) to talk about Goldman Sachs’s earnings, the deficit and unemployment. I then rushed back to my studio and had three segments that I am so jazzed about that I pulled all three videos. I highly recommend you take a peak.

The first interview at 8am was my daily roundtable discussion. This morning we discussed job creation in the wake of the President’s trip to Michigan where he will make some major announcements about job retraining and a $12 billion, ten-year initiative to improve the nation’s community college graduation rate. This morning Mayor Slay of St. Louis (home to this evenings All-Star game), Mark Wilson, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor and Daniel Seddiqui joined me to discuss retraining, job growth and what you need to do to get a job in this economy.

By the way, do you remember Daniel?  His mission was to find 50 jobs in 50 states over 50 weeks. I interviewed in him in New Orleans back on February 5th when he was in his 21st job and state. Here’s the link to refresh your memory to our earlier interview.  This morning Daniel joined us in New York in his 42nd job and state. You’d be surprised to hear what he thinks about the job market and the most difficult place to get a job. Take a look:
