My Journey from the Wall Street Trading Floor to the Anchor Desk

A little over a month ago I was interviewed by a colleague, frequent guest and friend of mine Julie Menin.

In an in depth and very personal interview,  she asked me why I left Wall Street for television, what it was like working on the Today Show with Katie Couric and Matt Lauer and lessons learned in this financial crisis.

Take a look at the interview below:

Dear Alexis. Not only are you very pretty and smart, but there are only two reasons why I fully appreciate Fox's Business you and Neil Cavuto;Your World. Both of you are great. Others at Fox Business should try harder to succeed as you and Neil have. The only person at Fox that I can't stand is Oliver North - a true hypocrite. He lied to Congress, shredded documents and they returned his pension to him. He spent no time in jail. Yes,decorated in Viet Nam,but without friends in high places (Reagan) he would've gone to prison and lost his commission and pension. You are pure a delight Alexis. I sincerely wish the absolute best for your career and broadcast pursuits. Geoffrey O'Neill
