More Pics, Great Interviews at Davos

The behind-the-scenes pictures really tell the story! This just shows you how nuts we are behind the scenes. When Yvette, my producer, is doing my hair, all has failed. For those who know me really well, I could care less about how I look. I am a research nut/nerd. I'd rather read voraciously and know what I am talking about than look good. A bit of a problem for TV!

Frank (our stellar cameraman from NYC) and Stefane have been behind the lens making us look good. They're so cool. Romeo, responsible for audio, has taken all of these pictures. He's become our resident photographer. Judith, who lives in Zurich, joined us for the week. She speaks Swiss German and has successfully navigated us through this crazy week. She's been so great. I now know that Switzerland has four official languages, German, Italian, French and Romansh. Stefane is from France and Romeo lives in Geneva. Dave in the satellite truck is also from Geneva. They were with us last year. They're an awesome group of guys. Without them, none of this happens.

It's been a great adventure. As day three gets underway, I have already interviewed a ton of my guests in what we call pre-tapes: Muhtar Kent from Coca-Cola, one of my all-time favorites; Carlos Ghosn of Nissan, considered one of the titans of the auto industry; Shai Agassi, a partner of Ghosn's in the creation of an electricity grid to power cars with batteries, and Rick Goings of Tupperware, a company firing on all cylinders. All of the interviews will begin airing in a half hour. Don't miss them. Plus some special surprises are on their way. Tune in. Some exciting new names yet to come!

I woke up at 3AM thinking it was a trading day!!!! I was treated to no live television other than the Australian Open, which is pretty good so far. Thanks for the behind the camera pictures. Most people on TV would freak out if there were pictures on them getting their makeup on. Also, I find humor in the "set" being the small patio outside of a hotel room. Nice backdrop though. The comments on here are usually creepy, but I say this as normal as possible. I like Money and FB Morning because the people smile. The news is a little slow, and some segments on Money are useless, but you don't need to be so serious at 5am. Jenna, Collin, and Ashley do a pretty good job with the local TV news production values. All 3 are a serious upgrade over Worldwide Exchange, which has the personality of brick wall. Alexis smiles a lot and seems to actually be a nice person, as do the FB Morning group, and Charles. As a 33 year old day trader who has been shorting banks since this time last year, its is easy to smile. I wake up at 3am and treadmill, etc, while watching Red Eye on Fox News. Needless to say it is a major letdown to watch Worldwide Exchange until 5am. I normally watch Squawk after 630-7, and FBN on commericals while I research, but on days when Becky Quick isn't there (nice, smile) I usually watch FBN. Kernan is pretty good too, but Carl Q lacks everything I look for on television.

So that's how Alexis looks so good. A great staff. I thought it was just natural beauty. Thanks for the wonderful interviews! Unlike the other network (CNBC) you ask some good hard hitting questions instead of being a cheerleader. Thanks again for the great interviews!
