This morning's Vicksburg Saturday Post had a real interesting article.
The article explored the possibility of a white backlash against Senator Obama should be elected President. The article examined white supramicist movement. People like Richard Barret who said that if the Illonois senator is elected that he would see civl rights demanded by a majority. Plus it could be a wakeup call for whites to unite. Frankly I remain skepitical about all of this. Why? The face of the Southeast today has changed so much over the past forty years. More amd more Northerners have moved into our part of the country. Race relations have improved as well. But why would the local paper put this in their paper? Honestly it wasn't an an AP wire story.
But the southeast's demographics and attitutdes have changed since the civil rights movement and the KKK is now a relic of the past.

Jeannette and Bryan clearly see this Marxist phoney Obama for whay he is. It is tragic that so many don't see the obvious and may force all of us to pay a very heavy price for their stupidity.

Obama is not qualified to run a 7-11.

Wow.. talk about sanctimonious!

I think what the Dems really want is Bayh as a candidate, not Nobama. Afterall, Bayh has done more LAST WEEK than Obama has done in his entire political career.

An analogy would be putting your 10 year old in charge of the household budget.

I wish the Marxist Messiah all the best, but I think he's going to give it up to McCain.

I've always viewed the POTUS job as a 7/24 hour. A job not for whimps nor those who are weak. President of the US is a serious job. Of course the office has been disrepected by those of the Hollywood left like those by Oliver Stone. But still the President's office is serious. Any career executive who has been chairman of the board could tell you this.
No matter who is elected. There are problems out there like terrorism and energy that don't need a partisian approach to solving the problem. It needs a common sense and nos sense approach. Since it's wartime, there is no need to elect whimps and caputaltors to the office. In energy no idealogue partianship should be tossed out the window. A strong message needs to be sent to both parties that the public is fed up and angry on how's washington does businesses. Frankly the beltway needs a strong top down, no non-sensical approach performance review. How would congressmen, speakers of the house react if they got real low approval ratings by us taxpayers? just something to think about.

Alexis,

I have to admit, I was a bit stunned to read this letter to Obama. Its as if you think that by simply naming Sen. Bayh as his VP that it will get him elected? Your well-intentioned advice was sent to the wrong Presidential candidate. Obama has no interest in improving our economy or holding our elected officials accountable - especially, since he has not been accountable. His interests for our country appear to fall in lock-step with Socialist policies of redistribution of wealth and nationalizing industry. I can only pray that the majority of this country has not fallen under his "mezmering spell" and will NOT vote for a man who has the potential to destroy our country.

Alexis,

Nice letter to Obama. But where is your letter to McCain. Maybe Charles and Tracy can help you write it.
