The left's problem with energy. Or any energy solution for that matter is the fact they have blinders over thier eyes. Like Senator Obama hasn't proved himself as a real change agent candiate on the energy issue. All he can brag on is long term solutions but he hasn't presented nothing on the short term. He opposition against off shore drilling on oil for example show's he isn't real change agent. His business attitude would route to the back room of the corporation becouse his ideas would only hurt a corporation not help. With a growing number of the population, including his own liberals are in favor of drilling. And no one isn't buying the arguement now that drilling now take years to force the price drop. Bolling has pointed out that fact how wrong how some of these economic ignorant liberals and envorimentalist are so wrong. Becouse when the announcement happens it's going to make the oil barrel price drop. But Congress both Democratic and Republican should share the blame for not presenting proper energy plans.

It is unclear to me how the United States can have a long term and sustainable energy policy if we are timid about Nuclear power and drilling for oil within our own boarders and off of our coasts. The idea that better management in the form of corporate behavior will bring sense to the process sugar coats the reality of the situation. Successful corporate management of anything only works when: 1. You take in more money than you spend. 2. If subordinates don't get on board, you can fire them. 3. The company newspaper doesn't crucify you when you may do something that the editors disagree with... Mr. Pena may absolutely believe that corporate behaviors can be applied to national energy issues, however America (and Democrat America specifically) will never adhere to such a scheme.

I'm really sick of these bureaucrats that do nothing but talk alot of hot air, increase the burden on the American tax payer by providing subsidies to their corporate buddies, and not letting the free market solve the energy crisis that our government created in the first place. Global warming is a hoax, our ethanol mandates are literally starving people around the world, and until green energy can compete with petro without massive government intervention, I'll continue burning it. These cap and trade leftists want to sieze even more money out of the pockets of hard working Americans, give the federal government even more power of the supposed "free" market, and profit on it at the expense of you, me, and every other American. This isn't capitalism. The is central planning. Am I the only person that notices that the more the federal government gets involved in the economy, the worse things get for Americans? And don't even get me started on the federal reserve (the place the bureaucrats go when they "need" more money and don't want to "raise" taxes on honest Americans). Hello people. Inflation is a tax on every man, woman, and child in this country, and a highly regressive one at that. I want freedom. I want an honest politician to come forth and tell things how they are. I want real answers. I want an end to this serfdom and tyranny. Where can we join in protest? Where is our Boston Tea Party? WAKE UP PEOPLE.
