From NFL to MBA

In this morning’s edition of the “Playing the Game” segment we do on Money for Breakfast, I interviewed Eddie George, former NFL running back, Heisman Trophy winner and four-time pro bowler.

All I can say is WOW!!! This is one impressive guy! He was dressed beautifully, so down-to-earth, approachable and charming. His transformation from the football field to the business world is one of the best examples that I’ve seen in the NFL. He received a landscape architecture degree from Ohio State and built a landscape architecture business called The Edge Group. He is a restaurant owner, reality TV star, co-host of The Best Damn Sports Show and the FOX Sports pregame show with Jason Sehorn, Tim Brown and Jay Glazer. My dream job!!! Oh and in his spare time, he’s getting his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago. Talk about a role model!
