Since I travel alot let me relate a tale that happened at Philadelphia International Airport. My return trip from Spain last summer was real interesting. For the first time I experinced a real flight delay. At 4pm EST, I was walking around the terminal checking out the varied mall like shops. I was passing through ther terminious and suddenly I noticed that a majority of US Airways flights have been CANCELED. I saw canceled flashing all over the terminuses.
Within the hour things got real interesing. Passengers who were waiting for thier return flights home linked up and shared information. The cause of the flight delay was computer glitch within the traffic control system out of Atlanta,Ga. The glitch had thrown everyone into a dizzy. I did make my flight to Charlotte,NC where I spend the night and I caught a return flight back Jackson Ms on Saturday Morning. US Airways left a bad taste in everyone mouth for such a delay. But it made my return flight rather interesting I might add.
