The newly elected President takes office January 20, 2009, and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke’s term ends Jan. 21, 2010. Bernanke has to be renominated by the president and will be on the Board of Governors until 2020. Forbes just released its 22nd annual “World’s Billionaires List.” For the first time ever, the number of billionaires crossed into four figures, reaching 1,125. Microsoft's Bill Gates dropped to No. 3 and Warren Buffett took the top spot.
